Our Journey

History of Bader Group

1983

The Beginning - Bader Trading & Contracting

Fareed Bader, armed with a Civil Engineering degree from Swansea University (UK) and a Master's in Business Management from London University, established Bader Trading & Contracting. The company pioneered quality waterproofing systems and energy-saving insulation in Bahrain, introducing the region's first sprayed polyurethane insulation.

1993

Expansion - Gulf Membrane and Coating Industries (GMCI)

To achieve self-sufficiency and reduce dependence on European imports, Mr. Bader established GMCI, a manufacturing facility producing waterproofing products. Through dedication and commitment, GMCI not only supplied the local market but expanded globally, exporting to over 25 countries.

2004

New Venture - Sphinx Real Estate

As Bahrain's property market flourished, Mr. Bader launched Sphinx to manage and develop real estate projects. Since inception, over 50 projects valued at USD 50 million have been successfully executed and completed.

Today

Bader Group - A Diversified Enterprise

Today, Bader Group employs over 250 people with an annual turnover of USD 25 million. The brand has established strong goodwill in the market, continuing to expand through the skilled leadership of its committed management team and the visionary philosophy of its chairman.
